At Jefferson Park Preschool, we're not just state-licensed — we're a team of passionate educators with degrees in Early Childhood Education, some even advancing to postgraduate studies. Our teaching ensemble brings together an astounding 100+ years of combined experience, catering to preschoolers from diverse backgrounds and developmental stages. Every lesson plan and project we craft is meticulously designed to ignite the curiosity and expand the horizons of the young minds in our care.

Jefferson Park Preschool was established in 1969 by concerned Elizabeth residents as a private, non-profit organization to provide quality day care for children of working families. Since its founding Jefferson Park has provided a word class early childhood program; with a majority of it's graduates going on to excel in academics and gain entry to honors and gifted and talented programs. Jefferson Park's innovative approach to preschool education creates an environment that is warm and engaging as well as intellectually stimulating. 

The staff at Jefferson Park Preschool are fully licensed by the state of NJ. All of Jefferson Park's Teachers hold Bachelor's degrees and some advanced degrees in Early Childhood Education. The staff collectively have over 100 years of experience working with preschoolers of various need, ethnicity and developmental levels. The staff at Jefferson Park develop highly skilled lesson plans and projects that enhance the minds of the children they serve.

Jefferson Park Preschool is able to operate with the help of grants, foundations and generous donors like you. Without the network of generosity our doors would close. Consider partnering with our organization to impact the life of a preschool child. Jefferson Park is solid proof that with a great educational start children excel in academics. 

Level I

Consider making a one time donation of $1500 to the monthly cost of just one child attending Jefferson Park. This cost covers instruction, supplies and food cost. 

Level II

Partner with our program to make a monthly reoccurring donation of $150. This will cover the monthly partial cost of one child attending our program. 

Level III

Help us supplement our educational cost with a reoccurring donation of $50. This will support programs and field trips. 

Level VI

Give an amount of your choice. Jefferson Park Preschool is appreciative of any amount that you give the program. The children, families and staff will be greatly impacted by your investment.
